MuzikSuite ("we", "us", or "our") operates the MuzikSuite mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App and this website.

2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
MuzikSuite does not require you to create an account. You may create content inside the App, such as drum patterns, audio recordings, loop sets, and setlists. This content is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share it using your device's own sharing features.
2.2 Information collected automatically
The App may store the following locally on your device to provide its features:
- App preferences (for example, note label settings and home screen layout)
- Trial start date and purchase unlock status
- Saved drum patterns, recordings, and loop station sessions
We do not operate our own analytics service inside the App. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy before doing so.
2.3 Device permissions
Some tools require device permissions:
- Microphone — used by the Tuner and Recorder tools for pitch detection and audio capture. Audio is processed on your device. Recordings you save remain on your device unless you share them.
You can deny or revoke permissions in your device settings. Features that depend on those permissions will not work without them.
2.4 Purchases
If you buy the lifetime unlock, payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We may receive limited purchase information from the store, such as confirmation that a purchase was completed, so we can unlock the App on your device and honour restore purchases.
3. How we use information
We use information only to:
- Provide and improve App features
- Remember your settings and saved content on your device
- Manage free trial access and purchased unlock status
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in these limited cases:
- App stores — when you make or restore a purchase through Apple or Google
- Service providers — if we use trusted providers for hosting this website or support email, bound by confidentiality obligations
- Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
- With your direction — when you use your device's share sheet or export features
5. Data retention
Content and settings stored on your device remain there until you delete them or uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App generally removes locally stored App data from your device.
If you contact us by email, we keep correspondence only as long as needed to respond and maintain records.
6. Data security
We design MuzikSuite to keep most data on your device. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information we handle.
7. Children's privacy
MuzikSuite is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
8. International users
MuzikSuite is developed in Australia. If you use the App from outside Australia, your information may be processed in the country where you use the App and, where applicable, by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies.
Australian users may have rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Contact us if you wish to access or correct personal information we hold about you.
9. Your choices
- Manage microphone access in your device settings
- Delete saved recordings, patterns, and other content inside the App
- Restore purchases through the App or your app store account
- Uninstall the App to remove locally stored App data
10. Third-party services
The App and website may rely on third-party services, including:
- Apple App Store and Google Play for distribution and purchases
- Google Fonts on this website for typography
Those services have their own privacy policies, which govern their handling of your information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
